Mindful Matching is for people looking for real connection. These guidelines apply to everything you do here: your profile, your messages, and how you treat people when you meet. Breaking them can get you removed.
Adults only
You must be 18 or over to use Mindful Matching.
- Don't join if you're under 18, and don't help anyone under 18 join.
- Any content that sexualises children is never allowed. We remove it, ban the account and report it to the authorities.
- If you think someone here is under 18, report them and choose 'Underage user'.
Be real
Be yourself, and only yourself.
- Use recent photos of you. No group shots where it is unclear who you are, and no photos of celebrities or other people.
- Give your real age and first name or a nickname you go by.
- Don't pretend to be someone else, and keep to one account.
- Don't use the app on someone else's behalf.
Respect everyone
Treat people the way you would want to be treated.
- No harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation.
- No hate speech or attacks on anyone because of race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
- If someone doesn't reply, unmatches or says no, accept it and move on.
- Rude or hurtful messages, including about how someone looks, are not okay.
Keep it consensual
Nothing sexual without a clear yes.
- No nudity or sexually explicit photos on your profile.
- Don't send sexual messages or images to someone who hasn't clearly said they want them. Sending unwanted sexual images is a crime in the UK.
- Never share intimate images of someone without their consent, or threaten to.
- Consent can be withdrawn at any time, online and in person.
No scams or selling
Mindful Matching is for dating, not business.
- Never ask anyone for money, gifts, bank details, crypto or 'investments'.
- No advertising, promotion, spam, or recruiting for other sites or services.
- No offering or asking for paid sexual services.
- Don't send links to get people off the app before you've built trust.
Meet up safely
Be someone people feel safe meeting.
- Suggest public places for first dates and respect the other person's plans for getting there and home.
- If you can't make it, cancel in the app so they aren't left waiting.
- Don't pressure anyone to drink, go somewhere private, or stay longer than they want.
Respect privacy
What's shared with you here stays with you.
- Don't share someone's messages, photos or personal details outside the app without their permission.
- Don't try to find out where someone lives or works if they haven't told you.
- Don't record calls or dates without consent.
Nothing illegal
If it is illegal in the UK, it is not allowed here.
- No selling or promoting drugs, weapons or other illegal goods.
- No threats of violence, stalking, or encouraging anyone to harm themselves or others.
- We will share information with the police where the law requires it, or where someone is at risk.
What happens when someone breaks the rules
- Every report is reviewed by a person, not just an algorithm.
- While a report is being looked at, we may stop showing the account to new people. Their existing chats carry on.
- Depending on what happened, we may take no action, remove content, or suspend the account.
- Serious harm, threats or anything involving children leads to a permanent ban, and we report it to the authorities.
- We don't tell the reported person who reported them.
Think we got it wrong?
If your account is suspended and you think we got it wrong, email us. A different person will look at it again, and we aim to reply within 7 days. kwabigames@gmail.com
