Delete your account
This page explains how to delete your Mindful Matching account and data, and what we keep. Mindful Matching is made by Kwabi Games Limited.
Delete it in the app (fastest)
- Open Mindful Matching and go to Profile.
- Tap the settings icon, then Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.
- Want a copy first? Tap Download my data in Settings before deleting.
Ask us by email (no app needed)
Email kwabigames@gmail.com with the subject “Mindful Matching account deletion”, from the email address you signed up with. If you can't use that address, tell us your username and we'll ask you to confirm the account is yours. We'll delete it within one month and email you when it's done.
What's deleted
Your account and login, profile, photos, voice intro, questionnaire answers, dating preferences, likes and notes, matches, chats (including the copy your matches see), meet-up plans, date feedback, and matching history.
What we keep, and for how long
- Reports made about your account, and our decisions on them: kept for 2 years after the case is closed, to deal with repeat abuse and show regulators how we handled it.
- Anything we've reported to the police or National Crime Agency: kept as long as the law requires.
If a report about your account is still being reviewed, deletion waits until the review is finished, so evidence isn't lost. We aim to finish reviews within a few days.
Nothing else is kept. If you'd like to delete just some of your data, such as your photos, voice intro or dating preferences, you can do that in the app without deleting your account.
